Hi, I’m Reid! I’m an artist + designer based in
Montréal,
Québec ︎
I’ve been making art my entire life & working as a professional for well over a decade. The early years of my career were spent in Toronto earning a BFA in Printmaking at OCAD University, founding an artist-run store in Kensington Market, and working odd jobs in screenprinting + art installation. Upon moving to Montréal, I continued on to work in digital printing & graphic design positions before eventually transitioning into work as an independent creative.
Illustration, design, video editing + more. When it comes to making tasty treats for eyeballs, I’m that guy!
I work part-time as the laser engraving technician at Atelier Circulaire, a historic co-op printmaking studio located in the Mile-End, where I also teach annual intensive workshops for both laser engraving and linocut.
I own & operate DieDye.Co—a clothing line focused around experimental design, dying, and screen-printing using improvisation & immediacy.
Privately, I run ongoing webcomic & art practice under the pseudonym Ryan the Wretch, dissecting the demented side of life via dark-comedy.
If you’d like to work together, I’d love to chat! You can get in touch with me here.
